Miyuki graduated from Vancouver Collage of Massage Therapy and carries a passion to support her patient’s recovery process from the most vulnerable stages to one of full health.

That passion led her to attain a full certification of the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) which allows to treat conditions such as primary and secondary lymphedema, lipidema, venous insufficiency, non-infected inflammatory conditions (e.g.  sprains and strains), chronic sinusitis, dermatological conditions, CRPS (RSD), burns/wounds, pre- and post- plastic surgery, scars, and concussions.

In addition to MLD, she incorporates a variety of techniques as appropriate in the healing stages for the various conditions being treated.  She prefers a gentle, non-aggressive approach.  She is certified in lymph taping and neurokinematic theory level 1 (and is working towards a certification of level 2).

She enjoys learning new treatment techniques and updating her professional knowledge to help her patients’ conditions.  She also likes simpler home care techniques patients can do at home as she believes the majority of healing process should happen outside the treatment room,

She is offering lymphatic massage treatments at following 2 locations:

Mondays: Lymphatic and massage clinic of Vancouver (#706, 550 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E9)

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: Cedar Hills Lymphatic and Massage Clinic (9474 126 St, Surrey, BC V3V 5C5)

She accepts cash, debit, credit cards and check. Direct billing to Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross and Telus eClaims.

Please note, a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling of appointments is necessary to avoid cancellation fees.

When she is not working, she loves hiking/scrambling/snowshoeing on local mountains.
