Osteopathic Care

Osteopathic practitioners use hands on techniques designed to alleviate tension and improve circulation and do not attempt to treat disease. Techniques used by an Osteopath practitioner include but are not limited to: myofascial release, cranial sacral, visceral manipulation.

This approach works well with manual lymph drainage (MLD). Once the vascular tree circulation has been improved by improving the deeper lymphatic drainage and detoxification, the affects of correct MLD application may be enhanced as the body will more available to detoxify and transport the lymphatic fluid by itself .This balance of osteopathy managing the deeper lymphatic system and MLD moving the superficial lymphatic fluids is a powerful holistic approach that enhances the function of the lymphovascular system.
